The Art of the Title

Titles can come a very wide range of styles and forms, and so it is of course inevitable that similar topics and themes will emerge from the pile. It is not a necessity to be genre-specific, as their ability to transcend film genres is part of the lasting appeal. The audience can often be introduced to themes in a film through relevant close-up or overlapping imagery. There are certain graphic techniques, narrative and mechanical skills for which title design is ideal. Because of its short length, limited budget and creative allowance, title sequences real estate are commonly used to explore  abstract, elaborate and intricate worlds previously unknown, unvisited and unseen.
