Ident update 1

This is an update on our ident progress so far. We have just finished our first ident which is entitled "Bates Motel Productions". I chose this, after the name of the hotel in the hit thriller film "Psycho". The villain in "Psycho" goes by the name of  "Norman Bates" and is infamous in film history, especially in thrillers, and so I thought it would fit well for a film studio producing a thriller film. "Psycho" was the first ever thriller film that was hugely successful, and so we felt this worked well with the roots of thrillers. Originally, we had planned on just using "Bates Productions" and following his infamous surname. However, after seeing the sign with "Motel" with it, we decided to add it.  The ident itself follows a strict black and white colour scheme, which connotes the darkness and uncertainty of a thriller film. The letters are the exact same ones as the hotel signs from "Psycho".

Our second ident is currently in development. We intend to entitle it "Brooks Productions", from Jordan's second name. Although we have no specific concept, we know that it will follow a similar thriller style colour scheme to our first ident. We thought that a combination between a production company named after one of our group members, and a studio that is named after a meaningful thriller link would work well and be the ideal to fit with conventions of a thriller's idents.
