Ideas Presentation Feedback responses

Introduction
After presenting our idea to the class, we received feedback from everyone. Their responses regarded the idea and its plot, the representation and conventions we described, and also how we could improve. The feedback we received was anonymous, and so we now have responses from a gender neutral group, not knowing which responses came from which gender.

Target Audience
In our presentation, we stated that our target audience was unisex, and would be aged between 15 and 30 years old. From the feedback we were given, we can see that this is a good idea, and that a wider audience range will be more effective at appealing to more people.

Conventions
This was the area in which received the most positive feedback. The comments included "I like the juxtaposition of the two scenes" and "your use of conventions such as suspense and questions is very effective".
Plot
The responses regarding our ideas plot were fairly mixed. Unfortunately, approximately 30% of peoples comments stated that our storyline confused them or that they required more explanation and description. However, I feel that this is a result of our presentation and how we conveyed the plot, rather than the idea itself. Nearly 60% of the people who gave us feedback said that they liked its "diversity" and "relatable storyline" as well as its "originality".
Overall dislikes
The other complaints and criticism we received were mostly focused on what we need to bear in mind. Common comments were "consider location" or "finalise soundtrack or narration". These are comments that we should be able to take on board with ease, as they were very constructive.
